The BLS Provider Course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer CPR and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and AED. Who is it for? For healthcare providers, EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credentialed card documenting successful completion of a CPR course. The Heartsaver CPR/AED course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, and infant CPR and relief of choking, as well as use of barrier devices for all ages. Who is it for? The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, optional first aid topics, and CPR and AED. Who is it for? For those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities of regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children's sports organizations. The Family & Friends CPR program teaches how to perform CPR in adults, children, or infants and how to help an adult, child or infant who is choking. Who is it for? Family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR, but do not need a course completion card. The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific training.
